Imagine what an indescribable joy it would be to receive the commendation of the Lord, “Come you blessed of the Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” This is the motivation for many Today Evangelical Ministries volunteers as they carry out the Great Commission.

Since inception Today Evangelical Ministries has funded the activities of the ministry from the donations made by committed members from their personal resources. The ministry sponsors the conferences and missions to most of the various locations it has been privileged to visit.

Intercession is standing in the gap for someone’s need. Intercession is ACTION. It is travailing or agonizing in prayer! Our Lord Jesus is the perfect example. Our Lord Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with vehement cries and tears (Hebrews 5:7). It is so easy to pray for our own selves and for our families. But God wants us to go beyond that. We can read all about intercession and still be in a position where you do not intercede. The word ‘intercession’ does not have anything to do with knowledge.
